TCM Security – Movement, Pivoting, and Persistence
Movement, Pivoting, and Persistence for Pentesters and Ethical Hackers is the next step in YOUR penetration testing and ethical hacking journey. Most engagements are conducted remotely, meaning that the tester must have the ability to move about freely from outside of the network into it. We do this using various techniques. Some of the simplest can be utilizing a compromised password to access a desktop environment via remote desktop and attempting to access other machines with those credentials. More complicated techniques include utilizing compromised endpoints to act as a proxy for us, forwarding traffic from internal targets back to our own.

PowerShell is the language and shell that drives automation across the Windows and Azure ecosystem. Sitting on top of the massive .NET class library, there is very little that can not be done in PowerShell. Today, PowerShell is relied upon by red teams, threat hunters, incident responders, penetration testers, criminals, and nation-state adversaries alike. Before robust detection capabilities were widely deployed, PowerShell was also the tool of choice for attackers to evade detection. Between the modern security features offered and the fact that most AV/EDR solutions have a PowerShell prevention/detection component, it is imperative that both red teamers and blue teamers understand the defensive landscape when building and using tools within the language.

Web Security Testing with Burp Suite
What is the use of Burp Suite? Burp Suite is an integrated platform/graphical tool for performing security testing of web applications. Its various tools work seamlessly together to support the entire testing process, from initial mapping and analysis of an application’s attack surface, through to finding and exploiting security vulnerabilities. Burp Suite is installed by default in Kali Linux. The tool is written in Java and developed by PortSwigger Web Security. The tool has three editions: a Community Edition that can be downloaded free of charge, a Professional Edition and an Enterprise Edition that can be purchased after a trial period. The Community edition has significantly reduced functionality. It intends to provide a comprehensive solution for web application security checks. In addition to basic functionality, such as proxy server, scanner and intruder, the tool also contains more advanced options such as a spider, a repeater, a decoder, a comparer, an extender and a sequencer.

EXP-312 is an advanced course that teaches the skills necessary to bypass security controls implemented by macOS, and exploit logic vulnerabilities to perform privilege escalation on macOS systems. Learners who complete the course and pass the exam earn the OffSec macOS Researcher (OSMR) certification.
EXP-301: Windows User Mode Exploit Development
Windows User Mode Exploit Development (EXP-301) is a course that teaches learners the basics of modern exploit development. Despite being a fundamental course, it is at the 300 level because it relies on substantial knowledge of assembly and low level programming. It begins with basic buffer overflow attacks and builds into learning the skills needed to crack the critical security mitigations protecting enterprises. Learners who complete the course and pass the exam earn the OffSec Exploit Developer (OSED) certification. The OSED is one of three certifications making up the OSCE³ certification along with the OSEP for advanced penetration testing and OSWE for web application security.
WEB-300: Advanced Web Attacks and Exploitation
Advanced Web Attacks and exploitation (WEB-300) is an advanced web application security course that teaches the skills needed to conduct white box web app penetration tests. Learners who complete the course and pass the exam earn the OffSec Web Expert (OSWE) certification and will demonstrate mastery in exploiting front-facing web apps. The OSWE is one of three certifications making up the OSCE³ certification along with the OSEP for advanced pentesting and OSED for exploit development.
WEB-200: Foundational Web Application Assessments with Kali Linux
Learn the foundations of web application assessments with Foundational Web Application Assessments with Kali Linux (WEB-200). Learners who complete the course and pass the exam will earn the OffSec Web Assessor (OSWA) certification and will demonstrate their ability to leverage web exploitation techniques on modern applications. This course teaches learners how to discover and exploit common web vulnerabilities and how to exfiltrate sensitive data from target web applications. Learners that complete the course will obtain a wide variety of skill sets and competencies for web app assessments.
PEN-210: Foundational Wireless Network Attacks
Wireless Attacks (PEN-210) introduces learners to the skills needed to audit and secure wireless devices and is a foundational course alongside PEN-200 and benefits those who would like to gain more skills in network security. Learners will identify vulnerabilities in 802.11 networks and execute organized techniques and those who complete the course and pass the exam will earn the OffSec Wireless Professional (OSWP) certification.
